How the no-vig math works

Strip the vig. Every price becomes an implied probability (1 / decimal). Summed across a market they exceed 100% — that surplus is the overround (vig). Dividing each by the sum normalizes them back to 100%, giving the fair, no-vig probability and the fair price behind it.

American input. The +/− square sets the sign; the number you type is always the magnitude. −110 ≈ 52.4% implied, +150 ≈ 40%.

Find value. Enter a price you can actually bet and Devig Terminal compares it to the fair line: edge = fair_prob − price_implied and EV = fair_prob × (dec − 1) − (1 − fair_prob). A positive number means the market is paying more than fair — that's the +EV pick.

Player props are treated as a clean two-way Over/Under. That's exact when both sides come from the same book; against a shaded line, use Find value with a sharper price as the reference.

This surfaces value, not winners. Positive edge means a price looks mispriced versus the no-vig fair line — individual bets still lose routinely; the math only pays over a large sample with discipline. Bet only what you can afford to lose and check your local age/legal rules. If gambling stops being fun, support is available (e.g. 1-800-GAMBLER in the US).
