Which Devig tool do I need?

Devig Sports has five free tools. They all run in your browser, need no account, and use prices you type yourself. Find what you want to do below and we will point you to the right one.

What each tool does

A short rundown of all five.

Devig Terminal

The quick, simple one. Type the odds for every outcome in a market and it strips out the sportsbook's margin (the vig) to show the true, fair line.

Use it when
You have a normal two-way bet, a three-way market (such as soccer: win, draw, lose) or a single player prop with Over and Under prices, and you want the fair price fast.
You enter
The odds for each outcome in American, decimal or percent form. Optionally, a price you can actually bet, to check for value.
You get
The market's vig, the fair probability and fair odds for each side, and, if you enter a price, the edge and estimated EV against the fair line.

Devig Spread Calculator

For markets with two, three or four outcomes. It shows the vig as a strip and lets you switch between four devig methods to see how much the fair price depends on the method.

Use it when
You are looking at a spread, a total, a moneyline or a market with up to four outcomes and want to compare methods, or check whether any side beats the fair price.
You enter
The prices for every outcome (US, decimal or percent), the line, and the price you can get on a side.
You get
The book's total vig, the fair probability from each of four models (multiplicative, additive, power and Shin), fair odds, a break-even figure, and a pick card. If every side is negative it says "No positive edge at these prices."

Devig Props

Built for player prop slips. It removes the vig from each prop, then prices the whole slip against the payout your platform is offering.

Use it when
You are thinking about a slip of two to six props on a DFS-style platform or a sportsbook parlay and want to know whether the payout is worth it.
You enter
The Over and Under prices for each prop, the payout multiplier (Power Play or Flex Play) or your own price on each leg for a sportsbook parlay.
You get
A fair win chance for each prop, the slip's chance of hitting, break-even, estimated EV per $1, a Kelly stake, and a ranked list of every combination of your props. Slip Lab, a panel near the bottom, compares Power Play, Flex Play and a sportsbook parlay side by side, with your own push rules and warnings when props look related.

Line Compare

A comparison table for the same bet at different sportsbooks. You type in each book's price and it shows which pays the most.

Use it when
You are shopping for the best number on one bet and want to see the prices lined up, and how each compares with your own estimate of the fair price.
You enter
The event, selection, line and settlement rules, then each sportsbook's price. Optionally your estimated fair probability.
You get
The best price highlighted, how much less the others pay per $100, and the estimated EV of each against your fair probability. It only compares prices that are for exactly the same bet.

My Bets

A free bet tracker with a bankroll and closing-line tracking. Your bets are saved in your own browser, so they stay on your device.

Use it when
You want to know how you are really doing: profit and loss, ROI, win rate, and whether you are beating the closing price.
You enter
Your bets (or press "Save to tracker" in any calculator), your starting balance, deposits and withdrawals, and closing odds if you want CLV.
You get
Three tabs. Bets shows results, a profit chart, filters and CSV export. Bankroll shows your ledger, available balance, units and spending-limit warnings. CLV shows whether you got a better or worse price than the close. There is a JSON backup so you can keep a copy.

How they fit together

You can use any tool on its own, but this is a common way to use them in order.

  1. Find the fair price. Use Devig Terminal, the Spread Calculator or Devig Props to remove the vig and see what a bet is really worth.
  2. Shop for the best number. Put the prices from different sportsbooks into Line Compare.
  3. Save it. Press "Save to tracker" in the tool you used.
  4. Track it. Settle the bet in My Bets, watch your bankroll, and add the closing odds to see your CLV.

The basics in plain words

Vig (or juice)
The sportsbook's built-in margin. It is why two sides of a coin-flip bet are often priced at -110 each instead of +100 each.
Fair odds (no-vig odds)
The odds a market would show with the vig taken out. They show the probability the market is really pricing in.
EV (expected value)
What a bet would be worth on average if you could place it many times. Positive EV means the price is better than the fair price. It is an estimate, and any single bet can still lose.
CLV (closing line value)
A comparison of the price you got with the final price before the event. Beating the close is a common sign of good pricing, but it is not a guarantee of profit.

Common questions

What is the difference between Devig Terminal and the Spread Calculator?

Devig Terminal is the quick one: enter the odds, get the fair line, and optionally check a price you can bet. The Spread Calculator handles two to four outcomes and lets you compare four devig methods side by side, with a vig strip and a pick card that tells you whether any side has a positive edge.

Which tool should I use for a player prop?

For one prop with Over and Under prices, Devig Terminal is the fastest. For a slip of two to six props, use Devig Props.

Do the tools use live odds?

No. You type the prices yourself and the maths runs in your browser. Nothing is fetched from a sportsbook.

Do I need an account?

No. Every tool is free with no sign-up. My Bets saves your bets in your own browser, so they never leave your device.

The tools give estimates for information only. They are not betting advice and cannot guarantee results. Only wager where it is legal and if you meet the age requirement. If gambling is a problem, call or text 1-800-GAMBLER (1-800-426-2537).
